    After living in Taupo for nearly a decade, I have become very passionate about this part of the country.  It is a beautiful place to live, and a great place to get married or host an event – due to it central location and stunning backdrop.    I have spent the last 4 years working as the Event Manager at Hilton Lake Taupo, organizing, planning and running various events.  Ranging from Weddings through to themed corporate dinners.  It was during my early days in the position as Events Manager that I realized there was a serious gap in the market to provide decorative hire items and finishing touches for weddings, corporate & private functions - hence the creation of Eventrent.co.nz
