Donna Inch - Mum / Director / Business Development & Sales
Donna has lived in Taupo for 18 years, and is passionate about this part of the country. "Taupo is a beautiful place to live, and a great place to get married or host an event, due to its central location and stunning backdrop".    

Donna has a background in Event Management, and has worked in the wedding and event industry for over 13 years. During this time she has organized countless weddings, corporate events and special occasions. "I love what we do, and I get immense satisfaction in seeing the finished product of a beautifully dressed event come together".  "We have built our business around quality service and quality product. Many of these special occasions we help people celebrate are a once in a life time event - so why would you compromise on quality?   You and your event deserve only the best."

Blaine Inch  

Blaine  Inch - Managing Director / Operations 
Blaine offers extensive knowledge and experience with a background consisting of 12 years working for Hilton hotels, in various roles around Australasia. Blaine has been living in Taupo since 2009 and since then has developed a passion about the region and all that it offers.

Having had a personal interest in the business since it was established by his wife Donna, Blaine was eager to contribute full time and came on board with the Eventrent team in 2014. 

Blaine manages the day-to-day operation, coordinating deliveries and collections and making sure event installations happen as and when required, and to our high standard. On top of this, Blaine is kept busy maintaining our extensive stock range, managing the finances as well as constructing and repairing.

Jess Nicholas

  Jess Nicholas - Event & Sales Manager

Jess joined the Eventrent team in early 2016 and has quickly risen through the ranks. Having started as our Event and Warehouse all-rounder, she has been involved in all areas of the business, culminating in a well deserved promotion to “The BOSS” in 2018.

Jess’ background is hospitality having worked in various roles for Bayview Wairakei Resort and the Lake Taupo Top 10 Holiday park in recent years.

Jess is in charge of our event sales, quoting and creating design concepts for our many clients. Jess also leads the Events team to manage the logistics of our events, ensuring all of the finer details of each event are carefully managed from start to finish. Jess works as a liaison for our clients and ensures that all of their needs are met by working closely with our Event Coordinator, Operations Manager and Event Assistant to ensure all details are implemented without a hitch.

Jess married in January 2015, so knows what it takes to plan and organise the most important day of one’s life. Jess is also the mother of 3 bustling boys, who keep her on her toes and no doubt contribute to her organized, calm and can-do attitude.

Karen Dodson - Event Assistant

Karen has one of the busiest and most important roles within the team at Eventrent – Picking & packing all orders and managing all returned orders to ensure every stock item is cleaned and returned to inventory correctly.

Karen also plays an important role in our event set ups and bringing our creations to life.

Karen is a mother of 2 girls, so is kept busy running around after them. She also has 2 part time administration jobs outside of her role at Eventrent, so she is definitely a busy lady! If you feel like keeping fit, you can join one of Karen’s fitness classes she instructs at the AC baths gym – How she fits these into her week is anyone’s guess!

Baby Charlotte - Future Warehouse Superstar

Baby Charlotte is our future warehouse helper in training, but currently she spends her time dishing out cheeky smiles and cuddles, ensuring she disrupts every team member with her cuteness!   Not overly constructive to the working environment, however always welcomed :)
